Department: News Department
Responsibilities: This internship is designed for a student who is interested in a news position, specifically for a morning show. Duties include, but are not limited to: greeting guests, writing tip sheets, escorting guests to and from studios, researching and locating archive video. Interns will communicate closely with segment producers, show producers, and executive producer. Mature and professional conduct expected.
Undergraduate (junior/senior standing) or graduate students attending an accredited college or university majoring in Broadcasting/Communications/Journalism or related field of study. Students must be able to obtain college credit for the internship experience (Internships are unpaid).
DURATION/HOURS: Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week during a 13-18 week period.
FALL (September December) WINTER/SPRING (January April) SUMMER (May August)
