The weather was perfect for this year's Ron Santo Walk to Cure Diabetes. However, it was bittersweet to think this was the first walk since Ronnie's death. I'm so honored I got to meet him several years ago. Team WGN wasn't especially big. But we had a Big Tiny good time along the Chicago lakefront. And despite a rather low key fund raising campaign, we brought in over $3,000. for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Yayy, Team WGN and everyone who walked in honor of #10.
