Patience Gloria is a Chicago based indie pop-rock band led by Charlie Malave and Michael Dobbins. They were founded in 2008 at The Jupiter Outpost Cafe in Chicago and released their debut album About a Girl, featuring the singles 'Crush' and 'Naked', later that year. They are unique in that Malave composes all the music and sings while Dobbins writes the words but plays no instrument. The end result is a quirky, thoughtful landscape of diverse musical sounds that deconstructs the conventional notions of the music album.

Their sophomore record 'Consequences David' was released in February of 2010 and expands the reach of the band both musically and lyrically. Consequences David illustrates the bands diversity with acoustic, folk, pop, and rock songs on wide-ranging topics such as the foreclosure problem, the hope for love, the meaning of life, and deep intimacy. The album is a free download, along with their first album, on the band's website: www.PatienceGloria.com.
