Apr. 20: Focus on Family - Child Cause founder Stephanie Castagnier
Child Cause provides a peer network for teens affected by AIDS and substance abusive households. The target is teens left behind by AIDS or as the addiction in their home is treated. Also, teens who have overcome addiction and have been sober for over 12 months are invited to join the network to enhance daily sober living.

Through organized events and forums, teens are invited to embrace sports and art related programs to develop skills and relationships that enhance their lives. Teens affected by addiction from various treatment centers, hospitals, schools and referrals across the country get the opportunity to network with other teens through our peer network. The focus is on finding their positive inspirational outlet and helping them build relationships they can trust and enjoy.

Through collaboration events are hosted ranging from education encouragement, sports involvement, art exhibitions, music concerts, dance recitals and drama productions. Our peer network strengthens needed peer support, raises awareness and removes the stigma associated with this disease.
