Hinsdale Humane Society is participating in the National Make A Difference Day, day of giving on Saturday October 24th.
They will be visiting with residents and patients in 18 area nursing homes/hospitals with their pet therapy teams and volunteers. In addition, a second team of volunteers, without pets, will go to the nursing homes and visit, talk, and distribute some special goodies. Phillips Flowers has donated carnations that will be handed out in addition to crawings from area children.
