SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — Authorities in Springfield have identified a 66-year-old man who was killed when he became pinned between his truck and the front end of a piece of heavy equipment at a waste management facility.

Sangamon County Coroner Susan Boone's office said Thursday that Robert Schnapp of Pleasant Plains died of blunt force injuries to his body.

Sangamon County Sheriff Neil Williamson said the accident occurred Wednesday morning, but investigators had not yet determined exactly what happened.
